In 230 archived Sweet Maria’s coffee reviews for crops from 2008 to 2011, 17 reviews mention strawberry and 14 mention mango. None mention bubblegum or yogurt.
Sweet Maria’s is a US green-coffee seller. I split the Internet Archive’s copies of its “archived reviews” pages into single reviews and counted how many mention each flavor descriptor. The counts are on coffee-flavored, where you can paste your own tasting notes and compare. The set has 120 reviews from 2008, 80 from 2009, 18 from 2010 and 7 from 2011. Five have no readable crop year.
Reviews, out of 230, that mention each word (plural forms count):
| Descriptor | Reviews | Earliest crop in the set |
|---|---|---|
| chocolate | 120 | January 2008 |
| floral | 89 | January 2008 |
| caramel | 63 | January 2008 |
| strawberry | 17 | January 2008 |
| mango | 14 | January 2008 |
| passion fruit | 12 | January 2008 |
| blueberry | 7 | March 2008 |
| raspberry | 4 | May 2008 |
| lychee | 3 | January 2008 |
| bubblegum | 0 | none |
| yogurt | 0 | none |
The first strawberry example is a January 2008 review of a Colombian coffee, which describes “a jammy sweetness to it (strawberry preserves)”.
I matched whole words. I excluded “cherry” when it meant the fruit of the coffee plant, and “honey” when it meant a processing method. The tool shows short snippets (20 words or fewer) and links back to the archived pages. It doesn’t republish the reviews.
If you find a descriptor in this set that I miscounted, open an issue on the repository.
